Privacy Policy

We collect information in four ways.

• Enquiries: your name and email, and anything you choose to add, such as a phone or WhatsApp number, number of travellers, travel dates, destinations of interest, budget, the journey you are asking about and your message.
• Bookings: your name and email, an optional phone number and special requests, plus the package, option, group size and travel date you choose. The price is calculated by our servers, and we keep a record of whether your payment succeeded.
• Your account: if you sign in, the phone number you use for the one-time passcode, and the name or email on your profile if you provide them. You can book without signing in; if you are signed in, the booking is linked to your account so you can see it under Bookings.
• Technical information: like most websites, our hosting records standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which we use to keep the site secure and working.

• To reply to your enquiry and plan a trip with you.
• To take and manage your booking, process your payment and keep you informed about your trip.
• To let you sign in and see your bookings.
• To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, but only if analytics are in use and you have allowed them (see Cookies below).

Payments are taken by Razorpay in its own secure payment window. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered with Razorpay and are not seen or stored by us. We receive confirmation of whether the payment succeeded, along with a payment reference.

We share personal information only where it is needed to provide what you asked for, with:

• Razorpay, to process payments.
• Google Firebase, which provides the sign-in service that keeps you signed in.
• Vercel, which hosts this website, and our own servers and services that store enquiries, bookings and accounts.
• The stays, guides, drivers and other local partners who host your trip, limited to the details they need, such as your name, group size and travel dates.
• Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Some of these providers may process information outside India.

We use only what the site needs, plus optional cookies if you allow them. You are asked on your first visit and can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

• Essential: a cookie called siiket_consent remembers your cookie choice for up to 180 days. Sign-in uses your browser's storage (provided by Firebase) to keep you signed in until you sign out. Razorpay may set its own cookies or storage when its payment window opens. These are needed for the site to work and are always on.
• Analytics (optional): we do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add them, they will run only if you have allowed analytics.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under applicable data protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consent you have given, and to raise a complaint with us.

To make a request, contact us through the Enquire page and mark your message "Privacy". Tell us which email or phone number you used so we can find your records. If you are not satisfied with our response you may also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.

This website is intended for adults. Bookings for trips that include children should be made by a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 18.

We may update this policy, for example if we add a new tool or service. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will make any significant change clear on this page.
